Current Gallery: 1996-2000 ( piece)
This gallery is comprised of works that I created while I was a medical student at UC Davis. The works were produced during a period of intense study as well as the first taste of endless shifts and experiencing the depths of emotion that occur at times of birth, illness and death. I was told repeatedly before matriculating that my art would not survive the rigors of medical training. An amazing thing occurred though -- I was inspired to process the stress and strain by drawing and writing. What was supposed to be the death of my passion instead became its most prolific era.
